Okay, so this is Easter in late May, but it was a GREAT Easter so I'm still recording it. It was our first Easter with our cousins Logan and Landon here and we made the most of it with them! Angela had a great idea to make a paper mache egg pinata with the kids and we thought it would be a fun project that they enjoyed. Turns out goo really isn't there thing and all they wanted to do was throw the paper strips into the goo. It turned into a Mommy project after about 5 minutes total. The first five minutes also included Landon falling off his chair and pulling the goo down on top of him. Super sad, but a teeny tiny bit hilarious. It actually came out great and the kids loved decorating it and then, of course, demolishing it on Easter and claiming the candy.

Our ward sponsored a fun Easter Egg Hunt the Saturday before Easter and the kids loved it! They were each allowed to collect 12 eggs (so there were enough for all kids), but Owen didn't really grasp this concept and just kept collecting! So Andrew, being the brilliant Dad he is, could sneak an egg out of Owen's basket each time he grabbed another one so he never got more than 12. You can see below, he couldn't be distracted from his candy. He never let go of the basket.

Our cute little Easter family. I didn't take a picture on Sunday which was dumb since I happen to think my kids looked pretty stinkin cute, but oh well.

We also had an Easter party at the Bang house complete with egg toss, egg target practice, a treasure hunt...

and an intense "Skip-it" battle! Does anyone remember these? We couldn't help ourselves. Andrew didn't do very well. You can see the Skip-it fell off his foot in this picture. I, on the other hand, was amazing.

Easter morning, these little babies wasted no time running down to see what the Easter Bunny left them. They were pretty happy with their little treasures.

Oh my goodness, Owen is looking so grown up with that haircut. What a fun Easter!
