This has been Elly's second year in dance and it's amazing to me to see how much she has grown in the last year. I thought she was super cute last year, but this year she has really blossomed and gained a lot of confidence. She totally loves dance and is the best three-year-old dancer I've ever seen. I'm her mom, so I get to say that.
The recital isn't til June 11th, but pictures were yesterday so we had fun getting all dressed up. Elly was into the whole thing. we curled her ponytail and did her make-up. I know some people may not agree with the make-up, but it's just for fun and she looked pretty darn cute. She looked in the mirror when I was done and said "My eyes look different!" Then she stared at herself and made smiley faces until we had to leave.
This is her showing me "Arabesque" (how do you spell that?). Anyway, I made her turn toward the camera which she informed me made the Arabesque wrong, but I love it!
We got some treats and did a little shopping afterward which was totally fun. It was the perfect girlie day! When we got out of the bath that night she said "I look like me again!" I told her that is how she looks most beautiful, just like her.

What a pretty little girl! Of course she is gorgeous without the make-up, costume, etc. but she does look really cute all done up.
I think she's the cutest little dancer too! Aren't little girls so fun! Halle is so into the dressing up and dancing and singing to her babies. I can't wait until she starts dance. So fun!
