My mom's parents, Grandma and Grandpa Talbot, came to visit us this weekend. They live in Oak Harbor, WA on Whidbey Island and drove all the way to Tennessee to see my Uncle and his family. Then they drove all the way here to see us and now they're on their way to Utah to see my sisters and many friends. They are traveling machines! We are so happy they came to see us and had a great time catching up and playing intense games of hand and foot! (I am undefeated thank you very much!)Last time they were here Elly (our super shy girl) had a hard time warming up, but as you can see in the picture, this time they made good friends. I think it had something to do with the chocolate ice cream...that really broke the ice. She was calling them "A-pa-pa" and giving hugs by the end which is a big deal for her. She even showed them her new trick....JUMPING! That was a real treat.
Thanks for coming to visit Grandma and Grandpa! You're welcome back anytime!
